Bechler Joins The Guidestone Group

One of the nation’s premier leadership companies has announced the addition of a certified leadership coach, trainer and speaker to their team.

Jamy Bechler will be joining The Guidestone Group as the Senior Director of Leader Engagement.  He will head up their leadership development programs, motivational speaking division, as well as helping develop team experiences for their executive retreat center.

The Retreat at Guidestone Hills is located in Chattahoochee Hills, just outside of Atlanta, Georiga.  It provides lodging and individual and team experiences for businesses and organizations all across the country and around the world with its convenient location to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airpot, the busiest and most accessible airport in the world.

The Guidestone Group has partnered with the GreenTree Project, a non-profit organization to fund and develop education and training programs for the next generation of leaders.  Dr. Michael Nichols is the president of the GreenTree Project, and along with Richard Branson, John Maxwell and Lolly Daskal, Dr. Nichols is recognized as one of the Top 100 speakers in the world by Inc.com

Prior to joining The Guidestone Group, Bechler served in higher education for more than 20 years as a student-athlete, head basketball coach, professor and athletic administrator.   After his basketball team earned the national “Champions of Character” award in 2014, he transitioned from being that program’s all-time winningest coach into full-time athletic administration.  While leading the athletic department at Marion High School in Indiana, the boys’ basketball team won a state record 8th State Championship.

In addition to working with leaders to simplify their life and work to live and lead with purpose, Bechler also trains groups and individuals on communicating more effectively, understanding the millennial generation; cultivating championship culture; becoming people of influence and improving personal brand through social media.  He is also a certified John Maxwell leadership coach, trainer and speaker.

Bechler and his wife, Tabitha, have one son, Jaylen.  The family resides in Newnan, Georgia.
